Roof Repair
Slate Roofing
Old Colony has decades of experience repairing and installing new slate and synthetic slate roofs. OCR can repair an existing slate roof or copper valley and keep the beauty that a slate roof provides a home.
Metal Roofing

Flat Roofing (EPDM - TPO)
We specialize in professional flat roofing installation services. If the slope of the roof is at a level where a low-pitched EPDM or TPO roofing membranes are needed, Old Colony uses the proper materials and experience to ensure a flat roof installation will last for decades.
Roofing Diagnostic Reports
Trim / Carpentry
Fascia, Rake and Soffit trim boards, in essence, are a part of the roofing system and will be inspected on all homes. Many homes built in the 1980s, 90s and 2000s, used a pine or fir wood trim board. These trim boards last approximately 12-16 years before rot takes over. Old Colony uses composite materials that will not rot.
Roofing/Attic Insulation
In order for a roofing system to last decades, ventilation and insulation work in concert to achieve a long lasting roof. Old Colony installs blown-in cellulose insulation to ensure efficiency and avoid shingle deterioration due to excessive heat in attic spaces.
Gutter Installation
Old Colony installs seamless aluminum gutters in 5” or 6” sizes. Gutter Fastening systems are galvanized for long lasting duration. Our experts will pitch and slope the gutters to properly located downspouts.
Copper Gutter Installation
Old Colony takes copper work seriously, we provide a white-glove service installation, this means no finger prints after install. Old Colony installs K-style and ½ round Copper Gutters; when a heavier weight copper gutter is needed, we will fabricate those systems. Copper downspouts can be used in rectangular and round styles, depending on homeowners preference.
Gutter Guards / Screens
Old Colony realizes that as nice as it is to have trees nearby, they can be dirty. The debris from trees can often cause major problems with the gutter / water management system. Old Colony installs a variety of Gutter guards and screens that wont allow debris into the gutter system. This is a great way to avoid Gutter clogging, as well as, a three-to-four-time cleanout expense.
Roofing Ventilation
All roofing systems are either vented with intake and exhaust systems or have an encapsulated non-venting system; the majority of homes, use intake and exhaust venting. Old Colony is certified in Roofing Ventilation. This includes various types of Intake venting (ie soffit venting), and exhaust venting (ie ridge venting, power venting etc.)
Skylight Installation or Replacement
While skylights are an excellent source of incoming daylight for dark hallways, bedrooms etc, after years they can become cloudy, warped and a possible source of leaking. Old Colony is a certified Velux installer and can replace skylights when needed.
